reiki at studio 34

we're in the middle of installing the plastic fantastic dome for the FILTHY Art Show. sunday was a big day. 25 panels were completed. there were 8 to go. i got to studio 34 and inside the dome a reiki session was going on. i couldn't have been happier. i made friends with fran the reiki provider and mary k the awesome 62 yr old woman receiving reiki. they really liked the space that has been created with the dome. next thing i knew i was having reiki on my hands which were much sore from working with chicken wire the day before. i've never experienced reiki nor knew what it was. it does sound kind of hocus pocus out there but my hands were so relaxed after the session. i might believe in something of this energy being harnassed through the healers. studio 34 is called studio 34 yoga healing arts. through this introduction to reiki, the idea of healing center is making sense.
