Selfcare Sunday

I took a vacation in Maine per my resolution to have a one week vacation a year. Today I did a little yoga from a tape on netflx, walked in the woods, took some photos and videos, of goats too, of a hemlock tree, and a cedar tree, and learned about trees soft and hard wood, i made eggs (that were laid today from chickens on the farm) with salami and cheese and onions... my mouth is watering thinking about it... i helped move firewood and made a big pile of it by the house, planted garlic, and went to dinner at a friend's house, who built the house himself and the studio, it's still unfinished but being lived in. And i had Long Trail's Double Bag. shitdamn that beer is GOOD.

cedar (sweet website on trees)

spruce (not my photo, just interesting to see different way the pine needles form on the branch)

double bag
(not my photo either)

i also have the title of my first album "Cedars, hemlocks and f-stops"

f-stops are a fraction. so the higher the number, the smaller the fraction, and the less amount of light let in. which also somehow increases the depth of field.

PS my new dream is to start a mushroom farm. like shitake mushrooms.

PPS we also made print making plans for wednesday with deb arter. i can't wait to see her beehive carved pumpkin

PPPS i also did a t-shirt silk screen design finally and it came easily because of the business cards Kathy Mueller designed for me two years ago. website planning too. it's going to be hawt.
