so i'm rushing to get ready to head to an art opening reception at i-house to watch some new videos by leslie rogers before i go out tonight for a beer or two.. i'm still dripping from the delightful, hot shower, oh how i love running water, clean water from my tap, thank you water! and had a memory about this blog...

this blog... yes it started as a way to reflect on parties i went to. parties. events. like weddings because i shoot them as a videographer. techno parties as a point of comparison. and art parties, like art opening receptions. as a way to learn about events er eh parties. and learn what makes an event fun. because i'm all about the fun. and because i like to throw parties. and my art practice has a large component that is indeed event based. and the character mrs dalloway (a book by virginia woolf) was defined by the parties she threw and the people around her. i embrace that in my art practice and life.
