My new years resolution to only eat out 3 times a week had been falling apart and things had been getting real bad. Like emotional eating, etc. And really bad food choices. Sugar crashes. Coffee crashes. Sad times abounded as I tried to pursue each of those next steps in reaching towards my goals I had set at my residency.
Man, I was a mess. Crying fits. You name it. I was heading in a downward spiral.
So I decided to try the master cleanse.
and that about equaled the worst decision EVER. i did get the blue tongue even in one day. GROSS. bye toxins. if there are even such a thing. ???
nevertheless the experiment did put a spanner in the works that i needed in the downward dramarama.
After all this thinking about body, image, scene, fashion, art, aesthetics, acceptance and self, I am thinking about a reperformance of Cut Piece by Yoko Ono. All ages.
AND
i think i'll add a recipe food nutrition self care bit to this blog to stay on track. once a week. Like TODAY. Self care sunday! hurray. or is it hoorah? hahahahahaHAAHA

sometimes eating raw for a few days will make u feel so much better.
maybe i could do that once a month. in 1994 on my way to australia we stopped in fiji. i met someone who had been a raw foodist for many years. we had just taken a boat to a bus and had a crazy ride along the cliff's edge to get to the former capital and somehow he found a piece of raw fish to eat for dinner. i was in awe.
by found i meant at a local market. as i recall it was late like 9pm. meanwhile we ate some fried food that was not so good from a random shop.
