Denis Farber

Denis Farber was one of the presenters at the Rutgers Symposium “To Be Or Not To Be: A Painter’s Dilemma” I'm going through the piles of papers that have accumulated and found his business card, which quirkily says under his name "since 1946". Anyway why I mention him is because during his presentation as I recall Dennis talked about the artist studio and its role in your practice. and these are some ideals to hold on to and that i find very true. that the studio is a safe place to take risks in your artist practice. I've had a studio outside of my house for a year and seven months and it's one of the best places on earth for me even if it is covered in water bottles. Plastic Fantastic FOREVER
