so many thoughts so little time

i can't tell if the blog and the fb and the youtube are the performance or the documentation of the performance. talk about art or be the art if you know what i mean. and does it have to be consistent? is it for self-promotion or a place to explore the ideas? is it real or an act? i like focused things. i am unfocused. i can be very focused. i am procrastinating to ask questions.... maybe you could respond and let me know like a readers survey. that would be cool... currently listening to tracks by monolake

as someone i was sorta seeing recently called all these type of issues technology and the like... "first world problems". how blogtastic was that. never talk about dating... ever.

here's a poem and then i really am going to finish cleaning my room.

"A Desert Cry"
1993

She slowly slides
through her mind's undulating emotions
with a child's curiosity.
Her tiny voice, a wanderer drifting into the unknown.
she is the desert

Each granule of sand singed by the blazing Sun,
Creator of the raging heat,
the cause of her anguish.
Concerns consumed by the pressure.
her cactus nerves submit to it.

she deteriorates like the carcass of a starved rabbit,
not desired by the snake.

She desperately yearns for the water of knowledge
to satisfy her dry palate.
To supply her with nutrients
Imagining with every curing drop,
A unique revelation.

But her body continues to ache, hot to touch,
She burns inside. Gradually the sun disappears
and the stress fades for a moment.
She sleeps inside frozen desolation.
