Referring to the CAA (that's College Art Association) website for artist resume and academic resume guidelines. If I had my own career services business for artists, I would offer artists resume writing and design. It would be in my barrel of trade. We could trade writing and design for building services. For instance I'll spend four hours writing and editing your resume, and you can build a loft in my studio. Or edit my videos. or whatever. trade. is there some network out there for this? that's what friends are for. ? Any one need help with a resume or career advice? I have three years experience working in the Locks Career Center and am going through this again myself... artist resume, academic resume, administrative resume... and corresponding cover letters, teaching philosophies, course syllabi, image lists... I just want to make art too. The business of art is hard work! Long live the struggle! Anyone interested in being in a weekly job club with me for a month or two?
