Safety Dance

I woke up this morning and this song was in my head.

Last night was fun. I love mixing video and making an environment for a party. Tabitha's plants were so green. Nick added green, yellow and blue lights. The sound was perfect. Everyone sounded great. Radere started playing and I didn't even realize it. He was playing guitar mixed with bell and water like electronic effected sounds, it was so ethereal. Color is Luxury... ah the sounds. I don't write about sounds but they are analogue, Tyler uses an old phone and Charles plays some crazy old synthesize - the buchla - patched into some other device (patch, he had those breadboard wires to do the patching, that Breadboard uses for its logo...) Crunchy and tingly sounds, so goooood. I love gooood sounds on a great sound system! wait I have a video i can post. because my words are FAILING...

the other thing that worked well is that the analogue musicians were on the lower level side of the room (the room had platform for the main area and lower area). when Thomas Hildebrand and Ezekiel Honig went on they were set up in a more traditional live PA format and people stood up. their techno ambient was completely dreamy and even dancy. fluid.

yay rizumu
